Ingredients :
8-10 Prawns (medium) shelled and deveined with tails intact
¾ cup Tomato ketchup
Salt to taste
Peppercorns , crushed
1½ teaspoons Red chilli paste
1 tablespoon Oil + to shallow fry
1 tablespoon Cornflour
1 tablespoon Garlic
1 tablespoon Ginger
½ teaspoon Celery
4-5 Spring onions
1 medium Green capsicum
Instructions :
Step 1 Put prawns with salt,peppercorns and a bit red chilli paste in a bowl, mix and set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
Step 2 Heat oil in a pan .Add cornflour to marinated prawns and mix well. Shallow-fry the prawns in hot oil till golden.
Step 3 Heat 1 tablespoon oil in another pan/wok. Add chopped garlic, ginger and celery and sauté well. Add remaining red chilli paste and mix well. Add roughly chopped spring onions and capsicum and sauté. Add ¼ cup water, salt, crushed peppercorns and tomato ketchup, mix well and cook till the sauce thickens. Add fried prawns, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 4 Serve hot garnished with spring onions. And Voila !!!
