Mini Chocolate Tarts

Total time : 60 minutes Servings : 10 Cuisine : Desserts


Ingredients :

  • ⅓ cup (75 grams) butter, softened

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 egg yolk , room temperature

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup (120 grams) all purpose flour

  • 110 grams chocolate ,chopped

  • ½ cup (125 ml) heavy cream











Instructions :

Step 1


In a bowl, add butter and sugar and mix with a spatula. Then add in yolk, vanilla extract and flour to form a dough. Place it on a cling film,wrap it and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.


Step 2

Remove from the fridge and take a piece of dough and press it evenly into the tart moulds. Cut off excess dough with a knife. Repeat the same with the rest of the moulds. Place the tart moulds in the fridge for 10 minutes. Place them on a baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 340ºF (170ºC) for 20 minutes. Once cooled, remove the shells from the moulds.


Step 3

Heat cream in microwave. Pour immediately

into the bowl containing chocolate and mix everything together into a smooth thick texture.


Step 4

Pour the chocolate filling into the tart shells. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes. And Voila !!!
